My graduation qualification has provided me a strong theoretical background in environmental studies and through further specialization in biodiversity conservation I have received practical field exposure to the biological diversity of wildlife and ecosystems. 1.M.Sc. summer internship: I carried out a short one month survey to understand spider diversity of the Wildlife Institute of India (WII) campus, Dehradun, Uttrakhand, under the guidance of Dr. Manju Siliwal, Wildlife Information Liaison Development Society (WILD), Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. 2.M.Sc. dissertation: I studied the habitat preference and burrow characteristics of a trapdoor spider (Idiops sp.) in the Western Ghats of Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka, India, under the guidance of Dr. Sanjay K. Das, Assistant Professor, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi and Dr. Manju Siliwal, Wildlife Information Liaison Development Society, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
3.Presently working at the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) as a Research Trainee (since November, 2010) under the guidance of Dr. M.P. George (Scientist D) in the water laboratory where monthly testing and monitoring of water samples from treatment plants and others, is carried out.
