This list identifies all of the applicants who have made a combined visa application, who are required to undergo health examinations, to ensure they meet the health requirement

for an Australian 417 - WORKING HOLIDAY visa.

The required health examinations are listed against each applicant below.

Please make sure that you read this document and provide it to the clinic undertaking your health examinations.

Arranging your health examinations outside Australia

Required health examinations for visa applicants outside Australia are conducted by qualified doctors and radiologists nominated by the department. A list of approved immigration panel physicians is available on the department’s website at www.immi.gov.au/contacts/panel-doctors/

Panel physicians in your country may have access to process your health examinations using a secure online system called eMedical. This is DIAC’s online systems for recording, processing and storing the health assessment results for Australian visa applications.

To find out which panel clinics in your country offer online processing, look for the eMedical logo [] on the list of the approved immigration panel physicians.

Please make sure you provide the HAP ID listed above to the panel clinic when you book your appointment. This will facilitate faster service and ensure your case can be processed electronically if the clinic is eMedical enabled.

Before you visit the panel clinic, please also make sure that you complete your medical history information. DIAC requests that you do this online where possible in help facilitate faster service when you visit the panel clinic. Medical history information must be recorded before your immigration health examinations start, as the panel physician will take this information into account when conducting your medical examination.

You can do this via our website at http://www.eMedical.immi.gov.au/eMedUI/eMedicalClient by entering your personal details and the HAP ID listed above. This will need to be done for each applicant on this application. You will also be asked to consent to using the eMedical system at this time.

Arranging your health examinations in Australia

Required health examinations for visa applicants in Australia are conducted by Medibank Health Solutions (MHS) or an Approved Medical Practitioner (AMP) if you are in a regional area.

Please make an appointment with MHS to undergo the health examinations listed above via their online booking service at www.medibankhealth.com.au.

Before you visit MHS for your appointment, you must complete your medical history online to facilitate faster service on the day of your appointment. Medical history information must be recorded before your immigration health examinations start, as the panel physician will take this information into account when conducting your medical examination.

You can do this via our website at http://www.eMedical.immi.gov.au/eMedUI/eMedicalClient by entering your personal details and the HAP ID listed above. This will need to be done for each applicant on this application. You will also be asked to consent to using the eMedical system at this time.

Note: if you do not have access to the internet and are unable to do so, you can also telephone MHS on 1300 361 046 to make an appointment. At this time, MHS will discuss with you options for completing your medical history prior to your appointment and special arrangements will be made if necessary. However, please use the online channels available where possible.

What do I need to bring to my health examination?

Please make sure that you bring the following to your medical appointment:

●this Health Examinations list or an eMedical referral letter if you follow the instructions above and complete your medical history information online;

●a valid passport*;

●your prescription spectacles or contact lenses, if applicable;

●existing specialist and/or other relevant medical reports for known medical conditions; and

●any previous chest x-rays
